From a division of the renowned Ratti mill of Italy, this is a gorgeous linen jersey. Just about opaque with about 10% stretch in the width, this dressweight staple has a tiny plain knit stitch on the face and purl on the reverse. It is drapey and feels wonderful against the skin. It has a raw, slubby texture with some characteristic irregularities in the weave. Sew elevated tees, tops and tunics, lightweight cardigans, dresses and skirts, pajamas, etc. Hand or machine wash with cold water and lay flat to dry, blocking the fabric as you would with a sweater knit if needed. Be sure to cut in a single layer layout so that you can follow the grain.
