Johnny W@s 'quirky story' SILK quilted jacketwear

From deadstock of the famous designer, this is a fantastic quality quilted jacketwear with a 100% silk face. This is a layered fabric that is about 1/2" thick with a serpentine quilting throughout. The silk surface layer is smooth and "swooshy", then beneath is a layer of fluffy batting. The layers are held together with the quilting design (3" vertical repeat) in a buttercream thread. The 'quirky story' print (16" repeat) features sketchy drawings and text in black, turquoise, pomegranate, daylily, cobalt, etc. on a cream background (PANTONE 18-4525, 19-1760, 15-1150, 11-0107 is close, etc.). Note that the print is oriented across the width of this fabric, as shown in the second image. The weight is perfect for any number of cool weather jackets, coats or vest, or as a very fun insulated lining for a winter coat! This fabric will need lining. Please test first: Dry clean or hand wash and hang to dry.
