Italian 'open book' batik-inspired viscose crepe woven 1.625 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a fine quality printed viscose crepe woven, a blouse weight that is lightweight and nearly opaque with a flowing drape and a very subtle surface texture. The 'open book' design (12.75" repeat) features an abstract pattern resembling books in a batiky style printed in dark walnut, rusty orange and dark cherry on a parchment background (PANTONE 19-1543, 18-1248, 19-1020, 11-0809, etc.). It has a matte finish and is stable in both directions. Perfect for blouses, tunics, tops, dresses and skirts, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering.
