This classic shirting is a lovely quality yarn-dyed jacquard with a "clipped weave" check design (1.125" repeat). It is just about opaque and the colors are blue with a white background (PANTONE 19-3947, etc.). The background has a super-tiny diamond jacquard pattern which catches the light and creates the appearance of alternating matte finish and slight sheen. The reverse is attractive as well as it shows a lighter version of the check design with the clipped threads, so either side could be used as the face. It is a standard shirting weight with some texture, and it has some body with a bit of cottony crispness in the drape. Perfect for unisex shirting, a shirtdress, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
