Italian 'banded chevrons' jacquard woven backed wool coating

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderful and unique wool blend jacquard woven with a soft, brushed face and a smooth, fusible cotton fusible knit backing in black. The 'banded chevrons' design (10" repeat) is woven in kiwi, blue iris, bordeaux, cloud gray, and black (PANTONE 18-3943, 19-1338 but deeper, 18-0435, 14-5002, etc.). It is a heavy coating, thick and substantial, cozy, warm with firm body in the drape and no stretch. It is perfect for a fabulous winter jacket or coat that you will cherish for years, lined or unlined. The edges do fray a bit, so some kind of edging or binding is needed. Dry cleaning recommended.
