Italian dot yarn dyed jacquard knit - red plum/black

This wonderful quality yarn-dye jacquard knit is a textured and opaque two-layer knit with a soft hand and drape. It has about 20% stretch in each direction with nice recovery. The random dot pattern is knitted in to attach the top layer and backing, causing a matelassé puckering that adds great texture and interest. The colors are red plum and black (PANTONE 19-2025 is close, etc.), and the backing is black but not really meant to be seen. Lining is not necessary for comfort or opacity. It is perfect for a cardigan, pullover, knit dress or skirt, tunic, tee, etc. Hand wash or TEST FIRST if you wish to try machine washing. Hang or lay flat to dry.
