French ribbon sheer stripe overprinted metallic floral woven 2 yd

This French novelty weave designer deadstock is unique, elegant and eye-catching! It alternates ribbon-like stripes with sheer mesh in a 3/8" repeat and every other stripe includes metallic lurex. The underlying fabric stripes run widthwise, but your garment can be oriented in either direction. The printed floral design has a 18.5" repeat with a color story of spring green, lemon, strawberry, vanilla bean, etc. on black (PANTONE 15-6442, 12-0642, 15-2217, 11-0104 ish, etc.). The drape is like organza (a bit firm). It is sheer and crisp, and would make a wonderful for an overlay for eveningwear: a pouffy skirt, a tunic, dress, sheer evening coat or jacket, etc. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to try hand- or machine-washing.
