Italian jacquard doubleknit -black gray dot

This eye-catching, yarn-dyed jacquard doubleknit made in Italy, has more stretch in the length than the width (about 40% lengthwise, 25% widthwise stretch), so it could be cut with or across the grain. It is medium-light weight and opaque with nice drape that has some body, and the dot design (1.75" vertical repeat) features black and medium charcoal gray (PANTONE 18-4105-ish). It has two layers, and the top layer has a slightly dimpled surface texture in the dots, while the black underlayer (not meant to be seen) is more flat. Use for any pattern calling for doubleknit or ponte: a sheath dress or knit skirt, cardigan jacket, tunic, etc. Dry clean or test first if you would like to try hand washing, and lay flat to dry.
