M@x Mara 2-ply microfiber - flower drama

This is a wonderful Italian 2-ply microfiber woven from M@x Mara, much like a "matte hybrid" but just a small amount of stretch in the width only. It is very tightly woven, medium weight, opaque and drapey. The distinctive "flower drama" print (48" repeat) features highly stylized flowers in black and cool green on a speckled vanilla background (PANTONE 17-6323, etc.). An extremely versatile fabric, it would be perfect for a dress, tunic, skirt, drapey overshirt or jacket, dramatic wide-leg pants, etc. Patterns with drape that call for 3-ply or 4-ply crepe would be suitable for this gem. Please test first if you wish to hand or machine wash, and hang to dry.
