This is an exquisite yarn dyed jacquard brocade from Italy, a lighter suiting weight with a taffeta-like crispness in the drape. It is very smooth, refined and tightly woven. The nocturnal waves design (14.75" repeat) has a gorgeous palette that includes black, midnight, sapphire, gray, etc. (PANTONE 19-4019, 17-4020, 18-3927, etc.). Some of the fibers have a soft sheen. Make a special occasion garment: jacket, topper coat, structured skirt, etc. Opaque, light weight, no stretch. Dry cleaning recommended.
