Italian 4-way stretch wool doubleknit - black

From a designer, this Italian wool doubleknit (may not be all wool, but is mostly wool) is classic and luxurious, and the color is black. It is dense and medium weight, soft with some body in the drape, and has a felted texture, although it's not heavy or stiff. It has about 40% widthwise and 20% lengthwise stretch and is perfect for any project that would call for a stable sweater knit or wool knit. It doesn't fray and is the same on both sides, so would work well for unlined or raw edge garments. Perfect for a indoor jacket, cape, cocoon coat, skirt, winter leggings, etc. Dry clean, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit.
