This wonderful 2-ply sweater knit is a beefy medium weight, tightly knit and opaque with lots of body in the drape. The upper tweedy layer has a blue, black, gray and ivory coloring (PANTONE 18-4032, 11-0606). The fabric has a knit construction with about 40% stretch in the width, but it's very stable and substantial. The underlayer is a solid black plain knit, making it perfect for an unlined sweater jacket, simple-lined cardigan, cocoon coat, etc. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try hand-or machine-washing, and lay flat to dry.
