From a NY designer, this is a stunning double border embroidered cotton woven in in white with dark navy embroidery. It is a shirting weight with a cottony crisp drape. Both selvages have a decorative floral embroidery that extends into the fabric 9" and then thins out with two staggered rows of a leaf motif. The base fabric is semi-sheer/semi-opaque and the embroidery has a slight sheen that gives it dimension and depth. You may cut in either direction, with the grain or across the grain, to make best use of the scalloped borders. It has a lovely design that is perfect for a skirt, dress, shirt, tunic, etc. Please test first if you wish to hand wash and hang to dry, or dry clean.
