Italian stretch 'hammered' silk - delicate blossoms

This absolutely stunning Italian silk fabric is a micro-plisse' weave which resembles the texture of a hammered silk, with tiny dimples that add richness and interest. The fabric has about 30% widthwise stretch with perfect recovery, and the exquisite print is delicate but intensely-colored, with blue and aqua blossoms on a red ground (PANTONE 18-3945, 14-5420, 18-1664). The base fabric, before plisse', seems to be a silk charmeuse, but it's printed on the matte side. It is lightweight yet opaque, with a soft drape that has a bit of body to it. Perfect for a blouse, top, tunic, dress, etc. Dry cleaning is best.
