Japanese geometry motif textured matelasse - black

Much more beautiful and textured in real life, this is a Japanese matelasse' woven from a NY designer, with a dimensional surface texture that has a very cool black triangle motif with a tweedy, twisty black and white striped background. The black fibers are polyester and the white fibers are cotton. Excellent quality, medium-weight and opaque with some body in the drape. Make a fabulous dress, tunic, skirt, overshirt or lightweight jacket, etc. Test first if you wish to try hand-washing, and hang to dry...or dry clean.
