This modern yarn-dyed reversible stretch bengaline jacquard suiting is medium weight woven with about 35% LENGTHwise stretch, so you would cut your garment across the grain. The quality and price are both fantastic! It has a black and white basketweave-inspired graphic design that reverses on the opposite side - very fresh and modern. It has a lot of body in the drape, yet it's still quite malleable and soft. The colors reverse on the opposite side, so there's lots of design opportunity. I would make some fabulous fitted stretch pants, but it's also perfect for suiting, jackets, a structured skirt, fitted dress, vest, etc. Dry clean or machine wash gentle, and hang to dry.
