J'Envie 'slatted' weave cotton/linen - black/white

From J'Envie, this is a very cool 'slatted' weave (meaning it has more solidly woven horizontal stripes on a more sheer nylon netting), a reversible specialty fabric that will get your creative, fashion-forward juices flowing! It has a more firm drape (less firm if you lay your pattern so that the stripes run vertically) and I imagine it in a simple-lined dress coat, jacket, pouffy skirt, or a super-modern simple tunic. It needs to be lined or layered because of the sheer areas between each stripe. A black and white abstract pattern is created through the weave of the interrupted stripes, and the colors reverse on the opposite side. Dry cleaning is probably best.
