What Have You Been Sewing?
Greetings from Rachel: EOS Fabrics Owner, Designer, and Artist!
I live in a Victorian fixer-upper, I'm known to juggle random objects, B.B. King once sang "happy birthday" to me and I'm a 3rd generation oil painter. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself because I am hoping you will introduce yourself to me!
Part of my role at EOS is to connect with our community of sewists, and to learn what life our fabrics take on after arriving at your doorstep. Many customers have shared their work over the years and it's just fascinating. Your experiences are inspiring and an invaluable resource to us all. Please keep in mind that we'd LOVE to see what you've been making!
It is easy to submit, and a great chance to interact over a shared passion for sewing. You do not need to have a social media account to participate. In fact, all content can be viewed right at EOS Fabrics. Seeing how others work, think and create is a great shortcut to jump-starting your own creative process. Thank you for sharing and enjoy!
Watch how a Garment Gallery submission is created
To be featured, submit your work by email to info@eosfabrics.com or message @eos_fabrics. Please include the following:
- A few high resolution pictures of your garment(s), preferably worn or on a dressform if possible. Hanging on a hanger is often not ideal for showcasing your garment but we can work with that sometimes too! Options that could be included, if you like:
- Closeup details that you are particularly happy with / proud of
- Closeups of interesting design features
- Photos of the inside of your garment, if you wish to show a lining or secret pocket for example, or another interesting feature or technique
- Fabric number or description of EOS fabrics shown (we can look it up if you don't have that info handy, but it's helpful!)
- Info for captions such as patterns, sewing techniques, etc.
- Your username if you wish to be tagged on social media
All features will appear in the EOS Gallery and on social media.
