From French designer deadstock, this is an elegant and luxurious 100% silk with a shantung texture and iridescent glow when it catches the light. It is lightweight and semi-opaque with crispness in the drape and no stretch. The colors are purple iris and jet black, which combine for an overall impression of a rich purple. It looks about the same on the reverse side, so it's perfect for a scarf or overlay for a blouse, skirt, shirt or tunic, etc. Some styles will need lining. Note the narrow width and order yardage accordingly! Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try hand washing, and hang to dry.
