Italian mottled bengaline jacquard suiting - red/black/silver gray 2 yd

From Italian designer deadstock, this gorgeous bengaline jacquard suiting is an opaque woven with about 20% stretch in the LENGTH only. It is malleable with some body in the drape and it's a medium suiting weight. The yarn-dyed mottled design is woven in Persian red, soft black and silver-gray (PANTONE 19-1860, 14-4002, etc.). The silver-gray threads are smooth with a slight sheen, which lends depth to the base layer. The reverse is an inversion of the same design and could be used as contrast. Perfect for suiting, a jacket, pencil skirt, cigarette pants, sheath dress, etc. Garments should be layed across the width since this has VERTICAL stretch. Dry cleaning recommended. 2 yds.
