Italian wool blend novelty knit boucle' - walnut/ecru/black 2.25 yd

From Italian designer deadstock, this visually rich novelty boucl� has a knit construction that is then woven into, forming a more stable and very unique sweater knit. Both sides are interesting, and either one, or a combo of both, could be used as the face. The fibers vary in size, and some have a boucl� curl to them which creates wonderful surface texture. The yarn-dyed design has a 4.25" repeat and features ecru, walnut and black (PANTONE 11-0606, 19-1213, etc.). It is semi-opaque due to the somewhat open stitch, and it has a soft drape. Though it is relatively stable, this fabric has about a bit of lengthwise stretch, so the stripes could be oriented horizontally or vertically. Perfect for a sweater, pullover, cardigan, sweater dress, scarf, etc. Some styles will need lining. Dry cleaning recommended, or test first to hand wash. 2.25 yds.
