From deadstock of the very famous designer, this is an absolutely stunning wool/silk blend jacquard woven, a lightweight and semi-opaque beauty with some body in the drape. It has a very elegant, printed floral design (13.75" repeat) featuring fuchsia, magenta, violet, light celadon, pink mauve, whisper pink, slate brown, etc. on a peach background (PANTONE 12-5203, 19-0814, 11-2409, 19-3424, 15-1607, 16-3118, 12-0911, etc.). The base fabric has a small-scale jacquard design that resembles flower petals and works beautifully in combination with the crinkle texture throughout, bringing lots of depth and interest. This fabric has no stretch. Sophisticated and very chic! Make a blouse, shirt, tunic, kimono, dress, skirt, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Dry cleaning recommended.
