From Italian designer deadstock, this beautiful sweater knit is a sophisticated basic with a super soft hand and drape. It's a semi-sheer, open sweater knit with a wonderful surface texture that includes a "smattering" of very fine longer fibers.. It has 20% stretch in the width and 10% in the length. The color is a cherry red (PANTONE 18-1442 is close). It is a simple knit with the right side showing the knit stitch, and the reverse showing the purl. Perfect for a lovely scarf, tunic, pullover, cardigan, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Dry clean, or hand-wash in baby shampoo (please test first).
