French cotton cross-dyed matte weave rainwear - clover

From French designer deadstock, this is a gorgeous quality water resistant cotton rainwear, a crisp yet malleable medium-weight woven in a clover green (PANTONE 16-0224). It feels fairly flat and smooth, though the matte pique-like weave lends a wonderful visual texture which looks the same on both sides. It is water-resistant and suitable for outerwear though it is not fully waterproof. A perfect choice for a lined or unlined jacket, trench coat, raincoat, etc. Test first if you wish to machine wash and hang to dry. PLEASE NOTE: There is a small and hardly noticeable weaving flaw running the length of this fabric along the left selvage only, about 3.5" from the edge. The actual width of this fabric is 59", but we have listed it as 55" to include only the usable width, and the price is discounted.
