Italian 'banded chevrons' fancy metallic jacquard woven

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a stunning jacquard brocade woven, an eye-catching eveningwear fabric with a combination of matte and shiny fibers and a very slight twill-like surface texture in the shiny areas. This fabric is an opaque suiting weight with a firm drape and a tight weave. The woven-in 'banded chevrons' design (10.25" repeat) features a range of colors including persimmon, gold, silver, kelly green, plum, pomegranate, spruce, cobalt, etc. (PANTONE 19-1664, 19-0309, 18-1450, 18-6024, 19-4037, etc.). The reverse side is not really meant to be seen. Best for an evening or special occasion garment with structure, such as a tailored jacket, topper coat, etc. Dry clean only.
