This is a fantastic yarn dyed wool doubleknit from a NY designer. One side has a herringbone pattern in black and white, and the other has a more tweedy look which serves as excellent contrast. It is medium weight with a soft drape that has some body, and would make a wonderful cardigan, sweater dress or skirt, tunic, an indoor cozy jersey jacket (a la Kathryn Brenne), etc. It has about 25% widthwise stretch. Dry clean, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit. Lay flat to dry.
