NY designer pleated faux-leather - garnet 1.5 yds

What a fabulous faux leather from a NY designer!! It is pleated in a not-quite-uniform way, from selvedge to selvedge, and then backed with a woven netting that holds the pleats in place (so there's no stretch and no opening of the pleats). The fabric can be cut in either direction, so that the pleats go horizontally or vertically, or a combination of both. The color is a mottled garnet tone (PANTONE 19-1338) that has a weathered look.It is soft and supple, with body in the drape, and just perfect for an edgy bomber jacket, blazer, edgy fitted skirt or sheath dress, vest, etc. The underlayer is soft, but it has the look of an interfacing, so garments should probably be lined. Dry cleaning recommended. 1.5 yds.
