Italian 'quilted' bricklayer matelasse' 2-ply knit - black

Just in from a NY designer and made in Italy, this is a fabulous 2-ply matelasse' knit with a bricklayer pattern quilted look, nicely textured and so soft, with some cushioning between the layers. The color is jet back. It is medium weight and opaque with a soft drape that has a bit of body. It has about 35% stretch widthwise and lengthwise, but is quite stable, making it a versatile weight perfect for an indoor or outdoor jacket or lighter weight coat, fitted skirt, vest, or use as a casual coat lining for extra insulation and comfort. Please test first if you wish to wash at home, or dry clean.
