From a new shipment from Italian mills, this jacquard sweater knit is amazing! It's a medium-light weight with a lot of surface texture (not dense, has a "weightless" feel), drapey and soft, and the addition of a bit of lycra gives it a slight springiness. The jacquard pattern is exquisite, an abstracted floral in burnt-orangey rust and oatmeal-gray that is infused with thin black threads to give it a tweedy look (PANTONE 16-1332, 13-0403). The reverse is a lovely tweedy mix of the colors and is definitely appropriate for patterns where both sides show. Perfect for a drapey cardigan, pullover or tunic, sweater dress, shawl, etc. Dry clean or treat as you would any fine sweater knit (please test first if you choose to hand wash).
