From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a beautiful quality, tweedy suiting with an interesting weave. The fibers are a blend of wool, cotton and polyester, and the yarns are woven in a small-scale basketweave (.25" repeat) lending to its excellent texture. It is a mid-weight suiting weight with substance, and opaque but not at all dense. At first glance, it is an auburn earthtone. Look closer to find a very pretty range of soft gray, peachy pink, deep wine and soft black tones. Make a classic Chanel-style jacket, suit, dress or skirt, lined coat, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
