Woven at the renowned Ratti Mill for the famous French luxury fashion house, this is a dimensional ottoman novelty weave with a lustrous textured surface and structure in the drape. It is a substantial dress weight or lighter suiting weight with a dry hand and no stretch. The small-scale rib (1/4" vertical repeat) runs widthwise with jet black and sapphire blue yarns which together create an impression of a blue night sky. The silk fibers catch the light beautifully, and the contrast offers wonderful interest. Make a gorgeous suit, topper coat, structured dress or skirt, shirt, etc. Hand wash, testing first, or dry clean.
