Description

From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a very beautiful doubleface brushed virgin wool coating. It is super soft on both sides with a reversible design. The twill weave is slightly visible through the fantastic brushed surface texture. Processed from the first-sheering sheep's wool, virgin wool is a highly sought-after high-end look, perfect for unlined jackets, coats, and reversible garments. This warm and cozy coating is substantial but not dense or stiff. Wonderful to work with as it is malleable and does not fray. One side is a classic lipstick red, while the other is stunning deep navy blue. The selvedge is neat and attractive; mixing a blend of both colors in a 1" border along each selvage. Use the selvage as a design feature at sleeve, pocket or collar. The options are endless!
