From French deadstock, this is a beautiful basketweave boucle with a variety of yarns which offer a rich texture and classic elegance. The fibers are a blend of viscose, wool, cotton and polyamide in a heavier suiting weight. Though this fabric has a slightly open weave it is nearly opaque, and it looks the same on both sides. It has a cottony hand and some firmness in the drape with no stretch. Make a classic Chanel-style jacket, suit, dress or skirt, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
