This is a beautiful quality stretch twill that resembles a lightweight denim but has a uniquely smooth hand and crisp drape! With about 10% stretch in the LENGTH and stable in the width, this is a comfortable and very handsome option for sewing denim-style garments. The cross-dyed weave pairs steely blue yarns and dark indigo for an overall impression of a cool-leaning indigo blue. Use the selvage to add a frayed hem to pants, pockets, or sleeves. It is fully opaque, malleable and soft. This fabric is also Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Sew fantastic lightweight jeans, capris, shorts, a denim-style jacket or overshirt, sheath dress, fitted skirt, etc. Remember to layout your pattern pieces appropriately, with this fabric's lengthwise-only stretch in mind. Wash on cold gentle cycle and lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low. Launder your finished garment inside. Please test first.
