Italian 'wedgwood blues' floral cotton double gauze BCI certified

This is wonderful designer deadstock all cotton double gauze, beautiful quality, with a casual sophistication. It is opaque with a soft drape that has a some body and no stretch. The classic "wedgwood blues" floral design (24.5" repeat) features a range of indigo, forget-me-not and lavender on a base that is a soft white with a hint of pink (PANTONE 17-4027, 19-4220, 15-3817, 11-1404). Certified by the Better Cotton Initiative, the world’s leading sustainability initiative for cotton. It has two layers of gauze that can be pulled apart (they are sewn together), and it is medium-light weight, a bit like flannel in texture with a very weightless feel. Perfect for shirts, tops, tunics, casual dress or skirt, soft robe, beach coverup, etc. Please test first: hand wash or machine wash gentle, and hang to dry.
