This fantastic yarn-dyed novelty doubleknit from J'Envie has a diagonal stripe design on the face in black and very light gray, while the opposite side is a salt and pepper tweed. It's a medium-weight doubleknit, opaque with body in the drape, and has about 20% widthwise and 15% lengthwise stretch, but is quite stable. Use for any project for which you would use a doubleknit weight fabric, and play with the direction of the stripes to create a chevron design. It would work very well, for instance, in a colorblocked dress, the stripes mirroring each other in opposing panels and paired with solid black. Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash in cold water, hang or lay flat to dry.
