"Scuba" knit, sometimes called "neoprene", is constructed for apparel rather than industrial use, and is similar to a ponte in weight. It is quite hot right now, and this beefy stretch doubleknit has a smooth texture, lots of body in the drape, and about 20% stretch in the width, about 5% in the length. This piece comes from a NY designer and is a very cool ombre dot graphic in lime, mocha, black and white, with a 33.5" repeat (PANTONE 14-0244, 17-0808, etc.). I only have about 5 repeats of the pattern. Make a fitted dress or jacket, pencil skirt, etc. Test first if you would like to wash at home.
