sweater knit, chunky rib luxury wool blend 'winter fog'

From a US supplier, this is an absolutely beautiful chunky yet semi-opaque sweater knit with a 1 x 1 rib that runs vertically. It cozy, with substance and warm yet not dense and with a soft and fuzzy surface. The "winter fog" design features a lovely range of subdued pink, green and blue tones within the overall impression of a medium gray color, and the yarns offer an intriguing range in size and texture. The content is a blend of wool and either mohair or angora along with synthetic fibers. There is no elastic content, but due to the larger, slightly open knit stitches this fabric has plenty of give in both directions--A very comfortable fabric to wear. Make an exceptional pullover, cardigan, warm scarf, etc. Dry clean or hand wash cold and lay flat to dry, blocking as you would any fine sweater knit to maintain its original shape, iron on low.
