Italian novelty slub wool/cotton suiting

From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a very special, textured woven in a lighter suiting or coating weight. The design features an irregular mix of cobalt and emerald yarns, with a micro-dash that runs widthwise with the occasional slub that creates a pop of color. With its midnight blue background, this is an ultra sophisticated way to wear color. The warp is black and the weft combines midnight blue, cobalt and emerald, creating an overall impression from a distance of a dark blue. It is soft and comfortable, not at all dense but opaque with body in the drape.  Make a stunning lined or unlined jacket, suit, overshirt, trousers, structured dress or skirt, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
