Italian 'concentric' jacquard knit - black/metallic silver 1.75 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a lovely jacquard sweater knit (tightly knit), similar in weight and drape to a doubleknit and not as firm as ponte. The yarn-dyed "concentric" design (5.5" repeat) is knitted in gray with touches of metallic silver on a black background. The back side is a mélange of both fibers, with a metallic sparkle throughout and the same soft texture as the face (the circle pattern shows through a bit from the front). It has 20% stretch in the width only, and is opaque with some body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, pullover, light jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, knit suit, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try either hand or machine washing (cold), and hang to dry. 1.75 yds.
