Italian bengaline stretch cotton woven - sparrow

Made in Italy, this is a fabulous yarn-dyed bengaline stretch woven, an upscale cotton/spandex blend that looks the same on both sides. PLEASE NOTE: The stretch (about 5%) runs vertically, so you would cut your garment across the grain (so that the stretch runs horizontally on your garment). It's a light pants weight in a muted plum tone called "sparrow" (PANTONE 18-1404 - ish), made from a tightly woven mix of black and plum fibers. Perfect for trousers, fitted jacket, skirt, sheath dress, overshirt, etc. It is opaque with some cottony body in the drape. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to machine wash, hang to dry.
