Italian 'whispered stripes' 4-way stretch ponte 1.875 yd

This gorgeous quality Italian 4-way stretch ponte knit in black with "whispered" speckle-y white stripes (yarn-dyed) that run vertically in a 1.375"-wide repeat. It is opaque and substantial but a bit less heavy than standard ponte, and has about 40% stretch with terrific recovery in both directions. The reverse has more of the white, in a pattern of thin horizontal lines that make a fabulous contrast to the subtle stripes on the face. It has lovely drape with a bit of body. Perfect for a ponte knit dress, knit suiting, a tunic, stretch pants, skirt, etc. Machine wash cold, hang to dry (please test first). 1.875 yds.
