From a US rep for high end French and Italian fabric mills who is closing and selling off all of their amazing stock, this is a beautiful quality French printed silk blend woven (silk weft, but the warp has me stumped --- I believe it is cotton/poly) with a shantung texture. The base fabric is a soft orange rust color so the printed floral has a spicy, rusty tonality (PANTONE 16-1520, 17-1540, 17-1520, 19-1450, etc.). It has a crisp drape and is an opaque shirting weight with a tight weave and some shantung-like slubs in the texture. Perfect for a pretty shirt, tunic, dress, skirt, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
