It has a smooth texture and has a drape, hand and character that is much like duchess satin. It is a bridal fabric, medium weight with an architectural drape and is perfect for a garment with dramatic, architectural lines. The yarn-dyed floral pattern (10.5" repeat) catches the light to create a dressy sheen.
