Italian boho chic cotton double weave knit - storm cloud

From a NY designer and made in Italy, this cotton doubleweave knit fabric really caught my attention because I've never seen anything like it! It also appeals to my casual aesthetic -- it is the epitome of boho chic! It has a very rustic look and is quite a thick doubleweave that does not separate (it's somehow knitted together, not fused). Even though a knit, it is totally stable with little stretch in either direction. Soft and cottony but because it is thick it has a lot of body in the drape. The color, a storm cloud blue-gray (PANTONE 16-4404) and the texture beg for a casual and artistic topper coat or jacket with lots of seaming and detail, paired with some kind of hand-knit scarf (or something along those lines!). Dry cleaning is probably best, but please test first if you'd like try to hand or machine wash, and hang to dry.
