French wavy-textured matelasse knit - black

This is a beautiful French stretch matelasse' knit with a dimensional surface texture in a wavy graphic pattern. The color is black, and it is medium-weight and opaque with a soft drape that has some body. It is a 3-ply, stable knit with 20% stretch in the width and length, and has a very cottony soft hand. Make a fabulous fitted jacket, suit, skirt, vest, etc. Test first for machine-washability and hang to dry, or dry clean.
