This is a wonderful wool blend fancy weave from the sample room of a NY designer, made in Italy. The color is jet black and the face has a cable stitch textured surface (like a cable knit sweater, except that it's a woven, not a knit), while the back is more of a flat weave. The drape is soft with body, and it has about 10% widthwise stretch. It is perfect for any pattern calling for a stretch dress/suiting weight. Make a fitted dress, suit, skirt or jacket. It has quite a sophisticated look and can be dressed up or down. Dry cleaning recommended.
