From a CA designer, this is a fabulous black on black textured stretch brocade from Italy, with about 30% widthwise stretch and great recovery. It has a wonderful textured pattern with some matte and more reflective areas and a somewhat "leathery" look. It's malleable but not very drapey, a would make a fabulous fitted jacket or coat, fitted dress or skirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
