How cool is this! It's a faux fur, a somewhat shaggy and slightly curly fur in a fabulous combination of light plum and silver (PANTONE 16-2111, 14-4203). It's thick, soft and cottony with some body in the drape, and it has a soft knit backing (shown below) with a bit of widthwise give, but is stable in both directions. Make a fabulous coat or jacket, or use as trim on a coat, jacket, cardigan, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors through the backing only---do not cut through the fur! This will preserve the look of the fur at the cut edges and will also prevent the fibers from shedding and getting all over your workspace.
