This is a really wonderful fabric... similar to a crepe back satin but the matte side has a smooth, dry surface. The reverse is satiny with a sheen, and the design is printed on the matte side, so you have the silky smooth side against your skin, and no shine on the face of the fabric. It's quite substantial and the drape has some body, and it's ALL SILK so the price is fantastic. The print is a stylized leaf design with a 24" repeat in shades of green on a black background (PANTONE 16-5924, 14-0627, etc.). Perfect for a dress, skirt, jacket, tunic, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
